Anderson. Lewis Judson. The Jubilee is an annual event having been held lor live years. Kor three years participants tour ed the valley, visiting most of the principal herds. Last year a Chau tauqua was beld at the state fair grounds. This ar tbe Jubilee will take the form of a series of county spring shows, which are scheduled as follows: May 18 Columbia county at Scappoose; May 19 L. U. Smith Jersey sale at Scappoose; May 20 Clackamas county day at (be Clackamas county fair grounds at Cauby; May 21 Marion county day at the state fair grounds at Salem: May 23 Polk county aay at Independence; May 23 Linn county day at the Linn county fair grounds at Albany; May 26 J. C. Brown & Hon sale at Shed a May 27 Stanley Klches and War ren Gray Bale at Turner; May 28 Lane county day at U O. Origgs ft Son farm near Eugene. At each place a cattle show and stock judging contests will be held. Members of boys' and glHs clubs as well ss adults will judge the etock. It Is expected that Mr. Van Pelt, director of the Ameri can Jersey Cattle club will be present and givo a dairy cow denv onstration each day. Many cars have been coming In, especially during the fair weather of the past week, but they lire lurcely from Wuflh in Eton, Canada and the mlddlf west. Thero have been registra tions from Alberta, Missouri, Ohio .and one from Florida. A few have come from California, but the usual proportion of California cars Is distinctly niUwIng.
