Special Lucille Middleton, Spanish dancer In Otis Skinner's "Sancho Fanza'1 saw him In "Kismet," probably his greatest production and unques tionably the one which established him firmly In the theatrical world but that Is exactly the nature of the vehicle In which he comes to the Grand theater next Wednes day evening. j True, "Sancho Panza." the at I traction for Wednesday night, Is something of a classical comedy through which there runs a strong vein of practical philosophy. Nevertheless, it Is a comedy, a fantastical comedy at that, and it is embellished with some of the; most delightful and tuneful music that has been presented in recent tneatrical seasons. Sancho insists on sharing his new found splendor with Dapple, his little Bray donkey; court etiquette perplexes him; false courtiers seek to betray him; but In the end he out-wits them, and wins the heart and approval of his sub jects. As n background for Mr. Sltln- mu&lc has been composed by Hugo Kelix, who wrote "Madame Sher ry," "Pom Pom" and "Marjolaine.' The dances were arranged by Bert French of "The Music Box Re vue."
