Club Meets Tomorrow Under the charge of Mrs. W. B. Kirk the drama department of the Salem Woman's club nas pre pared tbe program tor lb Feb ruary social meeting which will be held in the clubhouss tomor row afternoon. Mrs. William Mc Neil ot Silverton, who will be re membered by Salem club niera- kera who attended tbe county lib eration meeting in Stlverton last year for her delightful presenta tion of one ot Barrls's plays, haft consented to give a program to the club tomorrow. Mrs. McNeil has not snnounced the play, or plays, which she will give nor did the club officers request any par ticular play and the entire pro- tram will be in the nature of s lurpnse. Musical numbers of the after- toon will be given by Miss Marie Churchill, mezzo soprano, who will be accompanied by Mrs, Fbil Newmyor. Miss Churchill, who formerly made her home In Sa lem, although she now resides in Portland, ia recognized locally as the possessor of a pleasing voice. During the social hour follow ing the program tea will be serv- sd in the dining room. The social committee has planned to carry out a color scheme of yellow with daffodils and a large candlcljra with yellow candles gracing the tea table. Daffodils will also he arranged about tbe reception and nesting rooms ot tbe clubhouee. Dispensing hospitality at th tea table will be Mrs. W. E. Kilrk and Mrs. F, A. Elliott. Assisting In serving will be the members ot the social committee, Mrs. Ho mer Gouley, Mrs. Y. W. Spencer, Mrs. w. B. Wilson, Mrs. A. L. Wallace. Mrs. J. T. Whittle, Mrs W. J. Culver, Mrs. Erwln Smith, Mrs. Hal D. Patton. Mrs. R. R. L. Stclner, Mrs. C. II. Robertson and Mrs. A. M. Vassal. m Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Llvesley were hosts at a charming twelve cover dinner last night in their tome on Lincoln Hill. Sprlug flowers and white candles were need on the long dining table. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. John McNary, Mr. and Mrs. Hen ry Meyers. Mr. and Mrs. Freder ick Lamport, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. David Eyre. Among tie prominent Salem natrons who received cards to the ten tabla bridge party at which Mrs. Rockey Maeon of Al- tany entertained at ber home In Albany on Tuesday afternoon were Mrs. T. A. Llvesley, Mrs. Asahel Bush, Mrs. Arthur Rahn, Mrs. Harry Hawkins and Mrs. John Roberts. .Mrs. Bush and Mrs. Llvesley motored down to gether for the affair. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Llvesley will be the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Moore at the Uni versity club in Portland tonight. Later they will go to see Pavlowa. Miss Dorothy Llvesley, a student at St. Helen's hall, will return to spend the week end at home, Falrmount Hill club members and their husbands will meet on Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Lester Laws in Morning llde. Carlion of Eugene. Mrs. Ackerman motored to Eugene on Saturday with Mr and Mrs. Roy Burton who were also ths bouse guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carlton until Sunday eve ning. Dr. and Mrs, Elaine S.
