Ballw.ibber Jr. of this city, and Zadoc Rlggs of Salem, growing out of an accrdent which occured on the Pacific high way near here a week ago, has been settled out of court. Ballwebber, after some little hesitation, finally agreed to accept payment of $205.60 for the loss of his horse and buggy caused when Rlggs' car collided with his buggy. In the transaction Mr. Rlggs agret-a to pay the attorney's fees. Mr. Hallwebber was slightly in jured when the accident occurred, but has almost fully recovered".
