Harley (1863-1947) was painted 1927-1928. It will be featured prominently in the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum’s Collection opening in July 2017 in Williamsburg, Va. NEWS IN BRIEF Animation event set at Wallowa An animation workshop with Emmy Award-winning stop motion animator Teresa Drilling will be 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday, June 9, at Wal- lowa City Hall, 104 N. Pine. Join Drilling for a free talk on the history and techniques of animation, followed by a group pixilation animation. The event is arranged through Wallowa Public Library. Melville earns 4-H scholarship Bryce Melville has re- ceived the Wallowa Coun- ty 4-H Association $1,000 scholarships presented to a high school senior who has been involved in the program. Bryce will be attending Blue Mountain Community Col- lege in the fall to pursue a degree in law enforcement. He has been involved in 4-H for nine years, including dog, horse and beef projects. He plans to use the money earned from his 4-H market animals to help pay for tui- tion, rent, and books. EHS class of ‘72 plans reunion Enterprise High School class of ‘72 will hold its 45th class reunion June 16-17. Ac- tivities begin 5 p.m. Friday evening with a meet and greet at Bob and Mary Kay Pace’s home, 84808 Walker Lane. Bring snacks and refresh- ments. On Saturday around 2 p.m., a barbecue will be held at a private residence. The meat will be provided, please bring side dishes, snacks, drinks and ice.
