Students in grades 7-12 will perform a concert “Legends of Rock and Roll,” featuring the school’s band and choir members dressed as classic rock musicians from decades past. She was raised in Bend, Ore., on a horse ranch where she became a champion in horsemanship competition. She was a lover of gymnastics and competed in junior high school where she won many honors. A loving mother of two, Katie and Daniel, she later moved to Joseph and Wallowa Lake with her parents. She spent time with her many pets, in watersports and gardening. She was a fantastic cook. She is survived by her children, Katie Marie Byers and Dan- iel Mitchell; her parents, Dick and Jeanne Northon; and her sis- ter Mary Northon Hetz.
