Waffowa County Road Department CUP#17-01 – Lon Andrade on behalf of the Wallowa County Road Department has requested approve to establish and operate a non Goal 5 aggregate site for the purpose of occasionally mining, crushing, and sorting aggregate. The property is described as Township 5 North, Range 43, Tax Lot 6600, zoned Timber Grazing (T/G), and is accessed via Wallupa Road. This request will be reviewed for conformance to the provisions of Articles 5, 8, 9, 16, and 36 of the Wallowa County Land Development Ordinances and any other applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the State of Oregon. Fough VAR#17-01 - Jacob Fough submitted a variance application to allow the construction of a single family dwelling on a substandard size parcel in the Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) zone. This parcel was created by a Measure 37 waiver but was improperly conveyed, disallowing the dwelling. The parcel is approximately 2.12 acres and is described as Township 2 South, Range 45, Section 29, Tax Lot 1102. The minimum parcel size in the EFU zone is 160 acres. This request will be reviewed for conformance to the provisions of Articles 5, 10, 15, and 36 of the Wallowa County Land Development Ordinances and any other applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the State of Oregon. Wiffiams ZC#17-01 - Jared and Mishelle Williams have submitted a petition to the County for an amendment to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan text and zoning map to change the zoning classification of their property consisting of approxi- mately 2.80 acres from Exclusive Farm Use (EFU) to Recreation Residential (R-2). The property in question is described as Township 2 South, Range 45, Section 30, tax lot 300, and is accessed via Russell Lane. The minimum parcel size in the EFU zone is 160 acres. The minimum parcel size in the R-2 zone is 2 acres for all new parcels. This request will be reviewed for conformance to the provisions of Articles 5, 8, 15, 18, 29, and 36 of the Wallowa County Land Development Ordinances and any other applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the State of Oregon. Eng/Loftus APP#16-02 Findings – Appeal of a decision to approve the issuance and perfection of zone permit ZP#13-66 for a single family dwelling. The property in question is owned by Steve W Bilben and described as Township 2 South, Range 43, tax lot 1401, consists of approximately 38.25 acres, and is zoned Timber Grazing (T/G). The ordinance provisions which govern this review are Articles 5, 7, 12, 16, and 36 of the Wallowa County Land Development Ordinances and any other applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the State of Oregon. Raifs & Traifs AMD#16-01 Findings –To allow the placement of a non-motorized trail in the Wallowa Union Railroad right-of- way (Joseph to Enterprise section), update the County’s Transportation System Plan and adopt the Joseph Branch Rail- with-trail concept plan and other related documents. The provisions which govern this review are Goal 12 of the Wallowa County Comprehensive Land Use Plan and any other applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the State of Oregon.
