Thursday, July 14 Local author Rocky Wilson will hold a reading from his ifth book, “Rocky Wilson: Why Am I Here’” at 10:15 a.m. at the Blonde Strawberry in Wallowa. Courthouse Concert Series: Wallowa Fiddle Tunes Camp faculty, 5:30 p.m. at the gazebo beside the Wallowa County Courthouse. Free. The Wallowa Mountains Ofice will be hosting an open house concerning the proposed Lostine Public Safety Project. All members of the public seeking more information or wishing to provide input are encouraged to attend. Forest Service resource specialists will be on hand to answer questions and provide information to attendees about the project. The main reception for the Portland2016 Biennial was held at Disjecta’s main exhibit space in Portland on July 9. Each state-wide venue will host a Community Reception and will be attended by Biennial artists, Disjecta staff, and when possible, the Curator.
