Tlie board of graduate studies reached that conclusion after sur veying 2,279 grades given out last semester. Among graduate students alone, the board found almost 42 per cent of the grades were A's, 51 per cent B's. about 0 per cent C's, and only .5 per cent D'c and Ps. The board has called on n com mittee to establish a uniform grading system for all depart ments of the university. They agreed the Baptists them selves were not objectionable but that their pastor, the Rev. Mr. Miller, had a "peculiarly sharp ringing voice" which It was feared might disturb the Congregational meetings. Nevertheless, the Bap tist church was built.
