Come and hear about the plans for the National Convention. 100,000 ELKS from all over the United States will attend the Conven tion in Portland July 13th to 18th. Many thousands of them will come by automobile and will tour the Coast States after the Convention. The hunting, fishing and scenery of Central Oregon will attract many of them if we advertise our section at the Convention. The Bend Lodge has arranged for General Headquarters for CENTRAL OREGON ELKS at the IMPERIAL HOTEL. The Bend Lodge has arranged for one of the big windows of the Meier & Frank Store for the Convention Period. This will be used to exhibit the resources of Central Oregon. The Bend Lodge is arranging for a vacant city block in which the Cen tral Oregon Elks can park their cars during the Convention. A watch man will be kept on the job to check cars in and out. The Bend Lodge is arranging to furnish a uniform for its members to use in the Grand Parade. The Bend Lodge is arranging for a 20-piece Band. The Band will wear the uniform of the Bend Lodge.
