Seeing her coming, he shows plainly that he will tolerate no Interference. Noth ing daunted, she goes for him, and another struggle ensues.. The man on the floor has regained conscious ness, and he grabs the other fellow while PJillippa reaches for a large, brass lamp standing on the newer post of the stairway. Taking quick aim, she throws It at the intruder,, who. Is temporarily stunned. Like a whirlwind, the dainty atar flles about the room.
