The season finale is Saturday, April 21, 2018, and will feature guest soloist Augusta Schubert on Felix Mendelssohn’s “Violin Concerto.” Also featured on the program will be Beetho- ven’s “Symphony No. 2” and the overture to Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.” Season ticket packages may be purchased at the symphony office, 345 S.W. Grants fund youth theatre camp, spots still open PENDLETON — Youths ages 7-18 can still sign up for the 2017 Summer Youth Theatre Camp offered by College Community Theatre (CCT) at Blue Mountain Community College’s Bob Clapp Theatre. CCT is the grateful recipient of three grants for the camp. The Umatilla County Cultural Coalition has, once again, provided $2,000 in funding. Blue Mountain Community Foundation has provided $1,300, and Pendleton on Wheels granted $500. These grants, and the in-kind support of BMCC, allow the cost of camp to remain at only $75 for a week of activities under the direction of theatre professionals from the Portland area. CCT has sponsored the camp for more than 20 years. Camp runs daily from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 17-21, with theatre games, specialty workshops, and rehearsals for the public performance at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22.
