The event, she said, is the largest fund- raiser of the year for the hall of fame. In addition she expressed appreciation to the Pendleton Lions Club for providing food for the event and the participating Right to Life selects top posters Crabby’s Underground Saloon mixed it up with eight other local watering holes to win the Battle of the Bars competition for the second year in a row. Our community is so supportive of our schools and we are appreciative that many people were willing to take time away from their jobs, places of business, and clients to speak to our middle school students about education, jobs, and the future. Our students learned so much and many now have an idea of a career path they may take. Again, thank you to all those involved in Armand Larive’s Career Day 2017. The education of our students is so important and it cannot be done alone!
