The Tigers return all five starters from last year’s team that just missed out on the playoffs following a close loss to Irrigon at districts. Weston-McEwen and Pilot Rock are also expected to be much-improved this season with numerous starters and all-league players coming back as well. The league has two automatic playoff berths up for grabs again this year. The returning players have seen lots of time and experience from past success, but it may take time for players to figure out their role on the team. I believe we will develop into a team that makes the postseason and will have some success.
