The Proposed Action and environmental mitigation measures are described in the Environmental Assessment (EA) and attachments. Under the proposed project the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) will grant a 2.02-mile-long transmission line right-of-way (ROW) with 0.58 acre of permanent disturbance on ceded lands of the CTUIR at the Wanaket Wildlife Area in Umatilla County, Oregon. Based upon the project EA, dated May, 2016, it has been determined that the proposed actions will not have a significant impact on the quality of the human environment; therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement is not required. SUMMARY: This notice is to advise interested parties that an EA and FONSI are available concerning the proposed project.
