East Oregonian PUBLIC SAFETY LOG THURSDAY 3:50 a.m. - The Boardman ambulance transported a 14-month-old child to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston, after it had a seizure. 6:46 a.m. - A resident of Azure Mountain Apartments, Southwest Emigrant Ave., Pendleton, reported her car stolen. 7:46 a.m. - Mikami Brothers Potatoes, 2601 S. First St., Hermiston, reported several thefts at the property. 9:17 a.m. - A resident of Security Apartments, 130 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton, reported a Hispanic man looking in her window. Pendleton police were unable to locate the Peeping Tom. 9:36 a.m. - Four 7-week-old puppies were reported missing from a resident on Upper Dry Creek Road, Weston. 10:23 a.m. - A resident of Southeast Kristen Drive, Irrigon, reported that his and his wife’s cars were egged the previous evening. 12:28 p.m. - A travel trailer ran into an air station at the new Love’s Travel Stop and Country Store, Tower Road, Boardman, cracking the concrete, breaking conduit and causing other damage. The driver then left. The vehicle owner was contacted by the Morrow County Sheriff’s Ofice and directed to call the travel stop with insurance information. 12:41 p.m. - A resident of Birch Creek Road, Milton-Freewater, called the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Ofice after a pit bull mauled her puppy in her yard the previous night. The caller said the puppy was barely alive and had a broken leg, and was going to the vet that afternoon. She requested contact from a deputy. 3:02 p.m. - Morrow County sheriff’s deputies were asked to contact the Heppner Public Library, 444 N. Main St., after staff discovered “inappropriate behavior” on the back steps of the library. 3:58 p.m. - The city of Umatilla called the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Ofice after a phone was found on Cherry Street and the inder reported “a lot of drug pictures on the phone.” A deputy was requested to pick up the phone. 5:35 p.m. - A resident of Southwest Goodwin Avenue, Pendleton, reported ive or six teenagers came to her house and asked if she had any work for them. She told them no, and they asked to use the bathroom. While one teen went into the bathroom, others asked for water. After the teens left she could not ind her phone, and later found it in a bag in the hallway. She requested contact from a Pendleton police oficer. 7:06 p.m. - A resident of Kincaid Lane, Ione, called the Morrow County Sheriff’s Ofice after inding doors open and bottles lying around at a house they use for storage. The owner did not want to enter the house until it had been checked by law enforce- ment. Court Ave., Pendleton, reported a man came into the store and started causing problems, screaming and yelling and knocking things off the countertops, then ran out of the store and down the street. A Pendleton police oficer took a report. 11:59 p.m. - A litter of 5- to 6-week-old puppies was dumped at the corner of Southeast Second Street and Southeast Isaac Avenue, Pendleton. The puppies were running in the street, and the caller was unable to stay and corral them, and asked for a Pendleton police oficer to respond.
