PENDLETON — Known for her paintings featuring vibrant colors and exuberance, the Betty Feves Memorial Gallery will feature an exhibition by Priscilla Preus. Though Preus has experience with a variety of mediums, the gallery show will highlight her paintings. Ranging from landscapes to interiors to abstract imagery, the exhibit includes new paintings as well as a retrospective of large oil paintings on canvas. The exhibit opens Thursday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the gallery, which is located in Pioneer Hall at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 N.W. Carden Ave., Pendleton. Preus received a bachelor of ¿QHDUWVGHJUHHIURPWKH8QLYHUVLW\ of Washington. Her pieces are part of private, corporate and museum collections, including the Frye Museum in Seattle. She currently lives on the Hood Canal in Washington.
