PENDLETON — Known for
her paintings featuring vibrant
colors and exuberance, the Betty
Feves Memorial Gallery will
feature an exhibition by Priscilla
Preus.
Though Preus has experience
with a variety of mediums, the
gallery show will highlight her
paintings. Ranging from landscapes
to interiors to abstract imagery, the
exhibit includes new paintings as
well as a retrospective of large oil
paintings on canvas.
The exhibit opens Thursday
from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the gallery,
which is located in Pioneer Hall
at Blue Mountain Community
College, 2411 N.W. Carden Ave.,
Pendleton.
Preus received a bachelor of

of Washington. Her pieces are
part of private, corporate and
museum collections, including
the Frye Museum in Seattle. She
currently lives on the Hood Canal
in Washington. She is the sister of
BMCC President Cam Preus.

Priscilla’s paintings featured in
our gallery,” Cam Preus said.
“I’m so proud of her work and am
such a fan, and it’s really special
to be able to show off her talents
in our gallery and with our local
