The properties are located on the northwest edge of the Town of Lexington and north of Highway 74.Request is to amend the Comprehen- sive Plan, Comprehensive Plan Map and the Zoning Ordinance Map to change the zoning of the subject properties from Farm Residential to Rural Light Industrial. The criteria for approval are found in the Mor- row County Comprehensive Plan Review and Revision Process and MCZO Article 8 Amendments. This is the first of at least two public hearings with the final hearing before the County Court. Prior to the public hearings the planning commission will convene at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the Comprehensive Plan update to the economic element and the introduc- tory chapters.
