Summary: This measure authorizes the District to continue to levy property tax at a rate of $0.40 per thousand dollars assessed valuation each year commencing the fiscal year beginning July 1 , 2015 for five consecutive years. The proposed rate will raise approximately $300,000 in tax reve- nues in each of the five years of the levy. The District will use the tax revenue from this measure to operate the district at its present level of service. Without this additional revenue the district would not be able to continue to offer a comprehensive educational program or maintain current staffing levels that allow for reasonable student to staff ratios across the district.
