Train Crews Arrange ScIhhIuIo Trainmen working on passenger trains over the second division between Pondleton and Huntington are now on a definite schedule Owing to fre quent delays of trains due to arrive at tho terminals about the same time, "run arounds" were numerous. A schedule is now In effect whereby each crew has the same eastliouiid train out of Pendleton on alternate days and the same westbound train out of Hunting ton on the return. There are eight crews employed on the four passenger trains between here and Huntington. Mooting Date Changed. To speed up the action of the Uma tilla County Farm Bureau on the pro posed wheat pool for co-operailvc wheat marketing, the date for the an lu.il meeting of the county Farm Bur eau has been changed from Saturday, January 29 to Thursday, January 27, a 'veeli from yesterday. The morning will bo devoted to committee meetings, and at 130 p. m. these committees will report. At 2:30 p. m. a special wheat growers meeting will be held. Men In Hospital There is one Umatilla county ex service man In the State Hospital be cause of mental disability, according to Miss Virginia Todd, secretary of the Umatilla County Red Cross, who made Inquiries ut the hospital yesterday in response to a request from the Federal Hoard of Vocational Guidance. Miss Todd found eight ex-service men from vi rious parts of the state in the hos pital. She secured their names, their rank and military organisation ' t" which they belonged, as it is the wish of tho Federal Board to place all such men "with others from the Northwest in a hospital at Steliacom, near Taco ma.
