Adv, (Courtesy Tuesday's Journal.) PORTLAND, Ore. Little stuff en tered the local livestock market over night and practically no change U shown In the general situation. While It Is true that cattle sold In a very limited way as high as $6.90 7.00 yesterday at North Portland, It took "made to order" quality to bring these extremes. Good cattle were selling at a wide price range and poor stuff at a still wider range. There was little fresh stock offering this morning. General cattle market range: Select steers $6.50 7.00 Kest hay fed steers 6.25 6.36 Good to choice 6.00 6. 2D Ordinary to fair 6.00 5.75 Best cows 5 0005.25 Good to prime 4.5004.75 Select bulls 4.6094.75 Fancy bulls 4.25 Ordinary bulls 2.503)3.50 Best calves 7.60 8.00 Hog Market Unchanged. For top stuff $6.(5 seems to be the extreme mark for awlne at North Portland aside from a few head of selected quality here and there at a dime more. Shippers cannot figure above the former price for anything. Only a small run put In appearance In the yards overnight, following the big Monday offerings. I Best light $6.656.75 DlsoVefy.
