Mr. Buckley, who la familiar with

writes as follows to the Sunday Ore
gonlan: Portland, Ore , April 4. (To the
Editor.) T. T! Geer Is now seeking
the nomination to congress. There la
no good reason why he should be
sent there. There are good reasons
why he should not be permitted to
represent this state a state that se
lected his as Its governor, and while
such, permitted a land-king to graft
It of its public lands to a finish. He
has made the claim that he sold the
lands according to law. Here Is what I
