On Monday the June term of cir court for this county will com mence at 10 a. in., and from all in dlcations It will be an unusually long and Interesting session, One of the first things done after court convenes will be the selection of a grand jury to Investigate such atters as shall come before it. 'ine method of selecting the jury is to draw the names of the jurors from a box. the first seven taken constitut ing the grand Jury. They will then go Into session and may continue their business as long as the term of court lasts. In presenting matters before the grand jury the procedure followed U to lav them before either the lore- man of the jury, or before the dis trict attorney. The coming grand Jury will be tne first one for this county for a number of vears. and in all probability there will not he another one called for som time to come. District Attorney Phelns called attention to this fact this morning, and urged those who have business for the jury to see that is duly presented before that body. Of the criminal cases that will come before Xhe jury for Indictment that of Grover Martin for the killing of r. M. Preston near Milton a short time neo. DISGl'STIXG SALOON FIGHT. Four Men Attack One In the New Place Opened on Court Street. A miserable and disgraceful fight occurred in the Log Cabin saloon, just opened on Court street, a few nights ago. in which four men were attempt- Ung to beat one man George Maple was behind the bar and witnessed the affair without at tempting to stop It until bystanders were attracted by the noise from within the place and took a part in stopping the row. One man was held on ti.e floor while another man at tempted to kick him an another was trying to strike him with the top of a cuspidor. Creamery Business Flourllilng. The Commercial Creamery yester day had Its banner day since plant was placed In operation two months ago, says the Lewlston Tribune. The churning yesterday amounted to 845 Dounda and that of Tuesday 623 pounds. Bruce Wallace to Bo Married. Bruce Wallace, formerly of this city, and now In the drug business at Athena, came down on the evening train yesterday and left this- morning for Boise, Idaho, where he will be married on Monday to Miss Margaret Russell.
