Newt Livingston, who wa3 in town this week from Middle Fork, informs us that there are still some cattle dying in that locality, and that in a.i probability there will bo some loss during tho next month. A man enters the store and displays a government badge and "credentials" showing himself to be one of the secret service in search of counterfeit money. He looks over the cash drawer and Invariably finds a few "counterfeit" p.eces which ne "confiscates." These "secret serv ice" fellows are counterfeit. Long Creek Light. Powder River Rampageous. Powder river was nnk full yester day. At the Campbell street bridge the water ran over Into the road and covered the thoroughfare about six Inchos deep. The water rose steadi ly from midnight Saturday until about noon yesterday, but began to decline after that hour. All danger of a flood is now past. The rise was due to melting snow In the hills.
