A great many farmer carry their crops for a long time after harvest waiting Tor an advance In prices. Those who need money can get a large part of the value of their crop out In money and still hold the grain for an advauce in the following mauner. Suppose a farmer has 5,000 bushel of wheat which he can sell at 65 cents a bushel; let hlin sell it and receive Ij.jjo lu payment; then let him buy j,ix bush, els of May wheat and margin it 5 cents a bushel.
