The John llagen place is five miles north from Pendleton, The Held that was threshed was not a large one, and the remainder of the crop may not hold out at that average. It is scarcely atpoetOO that it will. A field of barlcv, four miles south from Pendleton, fia boon, threshed, and yielded thirty bushels to the acre. This is regarded as a very g.l turn out for that land. Some of the fanners further north and west have done considerable threshing, but not many have indi cated what arc the yields. Ii. Miller, whose ranch is six and a half miles south from Pendleton on Dry Tutuilla creek, is bHilling wheal to town, threshed this year.
