In Medford the Lady Lions gave 25 dolls to be dressed for less for tunate children of that vicinity. The Girl Scouts are dressing them, making a whole wardrobe, not just a dress. All dolls turned over to the firemen will be distributed as fast as they come in and are repaired. Since there is a shortage, of dolls, will the girls of Gold Hill who havo discarded Betsy’s, Annes or even Sin bad*, the sailors, hunt them out and put new and fresh dresses on them and turn them in. Any boys’ discarded toys are welcome, too, for there are many little boys who would love discarded toys of any kind, trucks, autos, animals, etc. Anyone having these toys and dolls, not only Girl Scouts, but anyone in town or going to school, leave them with Leona Holderness at school, in Mr. Kaiser’s room, and they will be collected and turned over to the firemen in Medford. If anyone knows of someone in this vicinity who may be a little disappointed at Christmas time, just whisper that fact in any Girl Scouts ear and they will look into the matter at once. Last Monday evening the girls spent the evening in making dress es for two dolls sent to them from Scout headquarters. Next Monday evening if it is fair weather, any Girl Scout having her permission slip signed by her parents or guard ian will be taken through the Bea ver Portland Cement plant. They will be met at the school and will all go in a body from there to the plant. Turkey Dinner Enjoyed By H.E.C. club Members The H.
