The 21-year-old guitarist is one of the most heralded musicians of his generation. He has made highly successful debuts in London, Paris, and Madrid. Segovia has declared of him that "it will not be long before bis name becomes a by word ..." The remarkable marionette theatre of Llords' "Interna tional" is probably the most unusual concert attraction touring today. He was trained in concert music at Syracuse Uni versity and the Mannes School of Music and his artistry as a pianist is not questioned. In addition, he adds the dimension of laughter, gaiety and heartwarming uplift to music. An American quartet that was termed "major" when it was formed in 1954 Is tho Claremont Quartet. The group presents a comprehensive repertory of chamber music ranging from earliest master to the advanced moderns.
