A no4iost party is planned from 7 to 8 p.m. for all those attending at the Town Club, Eugene Hotel. The Showcase will include music, ballet and dramatic readings by artists of the community. Featured on the program will be the Bob Sheldon Trio, the Madrigal Singera under the direction of Max Rlsln ger, Doreen Gilday'a Ballet Classique con cert group; and Stewart Rogers in "Scenes from Great Dramas." The Bob Sheldon Trio, composed of Bob Sheldon, Bill Crispin and Dennis Barger, will present folk music and other numbers featuring two classical Spanish guitars. Stewart Rogera will present scenes from "Don Juan in Hell" and "Cyrano de Bergerac." Doreen Gilday'i Ballet Classique will appear in two numbers, "Elegance" and "Wedding Day," both staged and choreo graphed by Miss Gilday. "Elegance," a grande pas de deux to music by Lizst, will be danced by Shelley Reinmutb and Frederick Ditzhaiy, "Wedding Day," with music by Mozart arranged by Bruno Madrid, will feature Sandra Gilliam as the bride, Susan Lcibel and Robin Humelbaugh as her close friends. The corps de ballet will include Cele Ann DiMarco, Cheryl Kirkpatrick, Anita Nixon and Kathy Williams. The performance by Jane Thacher, pianist, has been postponed until the fall concert to be presented by the Committee for the Performing Arts. Aim of the organ ization is "to encourage, promote and act as producers for local artists and to provide an auditorium for such performances." Tickets for the Saturday performance are J 1.50. Hopkins of Eugene, has current exhibits of paintings in Atherton and in Palo Alto, Calif. A show in San Francis co also is planned. Miss Hopkins, a University of Oregon graduate, took her master's degree at Mills Col lege, and is presently on the staff of the Museum of Art in Museum of Sea Opens at Coast A new museum "designed to perpetuate the beauty and history of the sea" will have its opening Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Nye Beach, Newport. , Owner and curator of the museum is Mrs. Bessie Mar shall who formerly lived in ' Eugene for more than 35 years. Among the displays will bo a coral exhibit, a col lection of star fish, an exhibit ot unusual shells, driftwood arrangements and an agate collection. Exhibit Set Oils and water colors by Alan A.
