Paul Jacobscn, dean of the University of Oregon school of Education, will give the com mencement address, entitled "Horizons Unlimited " Gordon Vance, chairman of the Springfield school board, will present diplomas and George Zellick. principal of the school, will make the presenta tion of the class. Miss Baldwin, a 1960 Univer sity of Oregon graduate, has taught English in the Hillsboro and Cottage Grove school sys tems. She will be one of 50 univer sity remedial English assistants who will help Filipino college freshmen improve the quality of their English. Twenty-five assistants will be at the University of the Philip pines, and the others will be assigned to colleges on the is lands of Panay, Negros and Mindanao.
