The couple will make their home at Springfield. ' White and Red Theme for Rites Baskets of white stock and red carnations set the color ' theme for the marriage of Miss Delores (Dee) Marie Stevenson and Charles Lincoln Taylor May 13 In the Conservative Baptist Church at Springfield. The Rev. Owen Douglass officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Miss Stevenson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold F. Ste venson and Mr. Taylor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Taylor, both families of Springfield. The bride chose a floor-length gown of white lace over ruffled netN fashioned with long sleeves and a sabrin'a neckline. The back of the skirt was of tiers banded in satin with a satin bow. Her waist length veil, banded with lace, was held by a pearl tiara. She carried a cascade of red roses with a white orchid, ar ranged on a white Bible, and she wore a 47-year-old wedding ring belonging to her grandmother. Miss Diane Taylor of Spring field and Mrs. Thomas Fleming of Salem lighted the candles, Sandra Taylor was flower girl and Gene Stevenson was ringbear er. Harvey Howard was best man and ushers were Leroy Stevenson and David Douglas. Gary Harris sang "Because,' "I Love You Truly" and "The Lord s Prayer. Mrs. Owen Doug lass played the organ music. A reception followed in the church parlor, where Mrs. War ren Lawler and Mrs. William Mo- lenda, both of Seattle, cut the cake, Mrs. Ovel Stevenson and Mrs. Janet Hassell served coffee and punch. Miss Norma Nauss and Miss Janice Jones received gifts. For their wedding trip to Wash ington the bride wore a coral suit with beige accessories. The cou ple will make their home in Eu gene. Loyal Star Lodge To Meet at Home Loyal Star Pioneer Lodge will have a business meeting Monday at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Raleigh Gatton, 1945 Crane Lane. Mrs, Gatton will preside at the session. 'A mm City Club Dates Two Sessions Music and Play Section of Eu gene Women's City Club will meet Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Woman's Club, 450 E. 14th Ave. The group will present a dramatic version of Humperdinck's "Han sel and Gretel," prepared by Mrs. Harry M. Lichty. Appearing in the opera will be Mrs. Bernard P. Lyons as Hansel; Mrs. Artie Mack, Gretel; Mrs. Sarah Rogers, Woodcutter; Mrs. Jessie Meyers, Woodcutter's Wife; Mrs. Millia Lamen, Witch; Mrs. H. P. Jeppesen, Gingerbread House; Mrs. Nina Mendill, Gin gerbread Men. Mrs. Orah Glass will play the piano and Mrs. L. B. Schmidt will sing Luther's "Su saninne." Executive board of Women's City Club will meet Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Woman's Club. Mrs.- Charles Staley and Mrs. Samuel Summers will be host esses. Installation Tea Slated Monday River Road Garden Club will have an installation tea 4or new officers Monday at 1 p.m. in River Road Women's Club. Mrs. Ken neth Warren will preside. There also will be a silent auc tion and a plant sale. The public is invited. Monday Book Club Sets Final Program Monday Book Club meets this week at 1 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Victor P. Morris, 1669 Fair mount Blvd. Mrs. Harry W. Titus will present the program. This is the final meeting of the club for the current season.
