for the marriage of Miss Delores
(Dee) Marie Stevenson and
Charles Lincoln Taylor May 13
In the Conservative Baptist
Church at Springfield. The Rev.
Owen Douglass officiated at the
double-ring ceremony.
Miss Stevenson is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harold F. Ste
venson and Mr. Taylor is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Taylor,
both families of Springfield.
The bride chose a floor-length
gown of white lace over ruffled
netN fashioned with long sleeves
and a sabrin'a neckline. The back
of the skirt was of tiers banded in
satin with a satin bow. Her waist
length veil, banded with lace, was
held by a pearl tiara.
She carried a cascade of red
roses with a white orchid, ar
ranged on a white Bible, and she
wore a 47-year-old wedding ring
belonging to her grandmother.

silk gown trimmed with red vel
vet and white lace, with a large
red satin bow at back. She car
ried a nosegay of red carnations.
Other attendants, whose gowns
and flowers were identical, were
Mrs. Harold Long of Corvallis
and Miss Carol Winsor of Eu
gene. Miss Diane Taylor of Spring
field and Mrs. Thomas Fleming
of Salem lighted the candles,
Sandra Taylor was flower girl
and Gene Stevenson was ringbear
er. Harvey Howard was best man
and ushers were Leroy Stevenson
and David Douglas.
Gary Harris sang "Because,'
"I Love You Truly" and "The
Lord s Prayer. Mrs. Owen Doug
lass played the organ music.
A reception followed in the
church parlor, where Mrs. War
ren Lawler and Mrs. William Mo-
lenda, both of Seattle, cut the
cake, Mrs. Ovel Stevenson and
Mrs. Janet Hassell served coffee
and punch. Miss Norma Nauss
and Miss Janice Jones received
gifts.
For their wedding trip to Wash
ington the bride wore a coral suit
with beige accessories. The cou
ple will make their home in Eu
gene.
