7 Wedding Bells Have Part in Decorations By ANN CONNELL RflUter-Gtum Society Editor Wedding bells were a signifi cant part of decorations and de tails of the wedding of Miss Con nie Juneola Brehm to Frank C. Duncan in Trinity Baptist Church Friday evening, May 12. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Buren Higdon, pastor, at 7:30 p.m. The bride is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Brehm of Springfield and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Marie Duncan of Eugene. Bells were tied to pews of the church. An arbor was arranged on the platform as a setting for the ceremony, its trellises dec orated with evergreens, yellow gladiolus and bells. Richard Ter Willinger, soloist, sang "Because of You," "Whither Thou Goest," and "Wedding Prayer." Miss Carol Terwilliger was organist. A cluster of frosted white wed ding bells, encircled with yellow rosebuds, centered the bride's bouquet, which was a cascade of yellow roses and white carna tions. Miss Brehm was given in marri age by her father. She wore a floor-length gown of white dotted nylon made with full butterfly sleeves, a modified scoop neck lino edged in narrow Venise lace, and a full skirt in two tiers. Her float-length veil of silk illusion was attached to a circlet of pearl ized orange-blossoms. She wore also a heart pendant which was a gift from the bridegroom. Miss Nikki Niederer, maid of honor, wore a bouffant dress of mint greefljiylon, with matching jacket which had large puffed sleeves. She carried yellow car nations, with tiny white bells tied to their ribbons. Similarly styled were the dress es of the other bridal attendants, Mrs. Denny Dennis and Miss Joyce Laremore, but they were of yellow nylon. Both carried bou quets of mint green carnations, also with miniature bells tied to their streamers. Douglas Cooper, a cousin of . . Former Oakland WAC Married OAKLAND Miss Barbara Green of Arlington, Va., daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Orvule E. Green of Oakland, was married recently to DonaHd W. Blevens, also of Arlington, in the Metho dist Church there. The bride wore a white bal lerina-length dress with while accessories, and carried an or chid on a white Bible. The bride was graduated from Oakland High School and is serving in the WACs. The bridc groom attended school at Shady Valley, Tenn, The couple will make their home at Arlington. A reception took place after the ceremony in the church par lor, where the cake was cut by Mrs. Eric Cooper, assisted by Mrs. Lloyd Hoaglund of Menlo Park, Calif., both aunts of the bride. Coffee and punch were poured by Mrs. Gary Smith and Mrs. Norman Jones. Mrs. Ralph McGuire was in charge of gifts, assisted by Miss Kay Gesme, and Mrs. Harland McElhaney and Mrs. Virginia Stoecklien had the guest book. Mrs. Ben Watrus distrib uted rice packets and the groom's cake. Bells and yellow carnations, with delicate fern, were used upon the bride's table, around the wedding cake and bells at tached to a large bow, hung above the gift table.
