The couple now is at home in Burns where Mr. Eschler is serving with the U. S. Air Force. Springfield BPW Club Dates Installation of New Officers Springfield Business and Pro- fessional Women's Club will in stall new officers at a dinner meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in American Legion hall, 8th and C Streets. Mrs. Loren Norton, first vice president o the Oregon Federa tion of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, will install new officers. Mrs. David Shaw will speak on "Colleges For Oregon's Future. Amaranth Court Arranges Dinner McKenzie Court, Order o the Amaranth, will meet Thursday at 8 p.m. at Springfield Masonic Temple. A family potluck dinner will precede the meeting at 6:30 p.m Flag Day and Father's Day will be observed. Those wishing to stay after the meeting may en joy cards and games. Hudson of Eu gene, to Gary L. Eschler, son of !.". . and Mrs. Roy T. Eschler of Powell, Wyo., took place recently in the Christian Church at Glen wood. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Larry Bingaman. Miss Hudson, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina-length gown of white taffeta with sequin trimming on the long-sleeved bodice. Her elbow-length veil of silk illusion was edged with lace and was held by a crown of seed pearls. She carried a white orchid surround ed with white carnations. Miss Barbara Nordman of Red mond, maid of honor, wore a bal lerina-length dress of pink and a pink mantilla. She carried a bou- q .et of matching carnations. Bridesmaids were Miss Lynda Raybourn of Eugene and Miss Shelia Nordman of Redmond. Their dresses were of a pastel pink plaid in ballerina-length with white cummerbunds and they wore pink mantillas. Their flowers were white carnations. Gregory Watters and Michael Watters lighted the candles. Alan Hudson was best man. Ushers were Gary Kean and Mike Hudson. Bouquets of pink and white carnations and snapdragons decorated the altar. Miss Car- i .en Egbert sang "Walk Hand in Hand" and "The Lord's Prayer" with Miss Patty Robbler playing the accompaniment. A reception followed in the church parlor. Mrs. Arthur J. atters cut the cake, Mrs. Rich ard Schrum poured coffee and Mrs. Lester Beeson served punch. Miss Kathy Jo Drew presented the guest book. For traveling, the bride wore a green and white plaid suit with white accessories and an orchid corsage. The couple now is at home in Burns where Mr. Eschler is stationed with the U. S. Dickinson of Cot tage Grove anounce the marriage of their daughter, Nancy Ina, to Raymond Rice of Curtin, son of Mrs. Mildred R. Moore of Empire and James Rice of Curtin. The single-ring ceremony was per formed by Warren DeLavergne, justice of the peace, May 19, at his office in Drain. The bride was attired in a white suit with matching acces sories and a corsage of red rose buds. She wore a 50-year-old strand of pearls which belonged to her maternal great-grandmoth er and had been worn by several of her sisters at their weddings. Mr. and Mrs. Jay T. Dillion, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, attended the couple. The couple is at home at Curtin after a wedding trip to the coast. Daly City, near San Francisco, will be the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Gutman (Arnolda "Bunny" Nelson) who were mar ried May 21 in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ve neta. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson of Noti, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gut man of Veneta. The ceremony took place dur ing low Mass at 11 a.m., the Rev. Michael Ricciardelli officiating. The altar held bouquets of pink carnations and white stock, and other baskets of flowers were rose-c o 1 o r e d hawthorne, pink flowering almond and white spi- rca. Organ music was playea by Miss Demse Benjamin, and spe cial music included "Ave Maria" and "Panis Angelicus" sung by Mrs. William Walton and Mrs. Edward Lack. Mr. Nelson escorted the bride. She wore a dress ' of Chantilly lace over satin, with fitted bodice and wide skirt over hoops. The bodice, with high neck and low sleeves, was ornamented with iridescent sequins at the neck line; the skirt had tiers of lace at the back. She wore a finger tip veil, held by a lace tiara trim med with sequins and having a teardrop pearl on the forehead. Her flowers were a white orchid with stephanotis. She also wore a diamond pendant borrowed from a close friend, for luck. Miss Sandra Nelson, bride's sis ter, was maid of honor in a gown of blended pastel lavender and pink nylon over taffeta, in ballerina length. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink carna tion. Two other sisters, Miss Betty Ann Nelson in pink and Miss Mary Ann Nelson, in lavender, were bridesmaids. They carried nosegays of pink carnations. Ring bearer was Scott Gutman and flower girl was Donna Thompson. Rodney Gutman was his brother's best man, and ushers were Gale Green and Frank Sroufe. A reception after the wedding took place' in the gymnasium of the Noti Grade School. The cake was cut by Mrs. Ar nolda Nelson of Noti, grand mother of the bride. Mrs. Ray Marion assisted in serving the cake, Mrs. George Sertic poured coffee, and punch was served by Mrs. Dale Shearer and Mrs. Rich ard Boettger. In charge of gifts was Mrs. Harvey Schortner Jr.,j and Miss Joyce Britt had the guest book. j The couple traveled to Lakej Tahoe, en route to their home in ainornia, me Druie wearing a beige summer suit with black ac cessories. The bridegroom is con trol operator at the San Fran cisco International Airport. Loyal Star Meets Loyal Star Pioneer Lodge will have its social meeting Friday at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Rob ert Mee, 1010 Bethel Drive. June birthdays will be observed. Richard Family Slates Reunion The Rickard family's 35th an nual reunion will be held Sun day, June 19, in the Ferguson Grange Hall west of Junction City. Basket dinner will be served, with coffee and punch furnished. Pioneer members of the Rick ard family crossed the plains in 1853 and were members of the lost wagon train. Two members of the second generation are liv ing. All family members are in vited to attend. Mrs. Ray Weldon Wins State Office Mrs. Ray Weldon, Springfield Timber Barracks 177 Auxiliary president, has been appointed de partment chief of staff by Mrs. Ethel Reed, department . presi dent.
