' Mrs. Laurence Swain will serve as program chairman. There will be a room parent attendance prize, movies for the children, and refreshments. City Club Board to Meet Eugene Woman's City Club ex- cutive board will have its first fall meeting Thursday at 10 a.m. at the club house, 450 E. 14th Ave. The president, Mrs. H. C. John son, will conduct the meeting. Plans for the first all-club event of the season, a Hobby Show, sponsored by the Card Section, will be discussed and final prep arations will be made. Reports will be given by committee and section chairmen. The activities of City Club, ac cording to the president are var ied and are designed to meet the needs of women living in Eugene and vicinity. The program in cludes recreation, education and hobbies. A membership card en titles the holder to attend any or all sectional meetings. New in terest sections may be formed by ten or more women with the ap proval of the board. -Some in terest has been shown towards a Home Economics group and any one interested in starting a pro ject of this kind may contact Mrs. Johnson, 5-3679. There is said to be an interest for every woman at City Club and the membership is open to all, at any time during the year. Heart Committee To Set Up Program Lane County Heart Committee will meet Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the library of Sacred Heart Hospital. This will be the first meeting since the organizational meeting and in order to get the program for the year set up, Henry J. Kencally, program consultant of Oregon Heart Assn. and Robert Titus, consultant of American Heart Assn., will be present.
