But unlike most other Weeks. it has nothing to do- with mayor's proclamations and speeches. It has to do with kids flying School, Park Meeting Set Members of Springfield's school board and park and rec reation board will dine together Tuesday evening and then dis cuss several disagreements. Willamalane Park directors say that the school district's summer music program is in part a dupli cation of the park's activities. They also object to the school district's attitude toward summer use of school athletic facilities. The meeting was suggested by Willamalane directors, an invita tion accepted by the school board men, who believe misunderstand ings of factors involved are responsible. The meeting will be in Willa- malane's Memorial Building at 7 p.m. kites and balloons and pumping bikes. All week long things will be up in the air with kite contests and exhibitions. The largest kite scheduled for a trip aloft is a 7 foot boxkite. Hydrogen-filled balloons will he released bearing notes with names and addresses of partici pants. There will be a prize for the one whose note is returned first. Main event, nn the cycle end of the week will be a bike hike Friday to Armitage Park. Lunches will be taken and eaten at the park. There will be a na ture walk and games. Partici pants must be at least 10 years old and have permission of par ents, according to Clayton An derson, park director. Disabled Vet, Lost 9 Days, Found Unhurt I NORTH BEND, Wash, lift A i Seattle fisherman, lost for nine days in the primitive Cascade Mountains 13 miles southeast of here, was found alive Monday, weary and hungry but otherwise Unharmed. ! Bearded James Stolberg. 31, a jNavy'veteran who has a 70 per cent disability rating because of arthritis, said he wandered some 30 miles over brush-covered mountains with nothing but ber ries and small fish to eat. He left his Seattle home July 1 4 on a fishing trip. When his ;car was found parked on the j Sunset Highway near an old fire rail July 5, a massive search be gan. Stolberg said he had followed the fire trail to its end and had started through dense brush to ward the trail leading to Mason Lake. He lost his bearings and when found was some 16 miles from the lake. His wife Ann had the final word: "He's hot going fishing again except in the bathtub at home.
