Robbins of Framingham, Mass., are visiting their son-in-law and daughter, MSgt. and Mrs. Fred L. Finan, of Springfield. They plan a two week stay in Springfield before returning io Massachusetts. Mrs. Robbins, a native Vermonter, has located a friend in Eugene with whom she grew up. He is Cal Eaton, whom Mrs. Robbins had not seen for 38 years. The Rob bins also will visit friends in Portland. Mr. Robbins is an engineer with Boston arid Albany railroad and has been with the railroad 49 years. Mrs. Robbins is a re tired school teacher. Sgt. Finan Is with Air Force ROTC at Uni versity of Oregon and Mrs. Finan is with the catalog department of the University of Oregon li brary. Women's Legion Post Host For Pre-Convention Caucus Willamette Women's American Legion Post will be hosts for the District 3 Pre-Convention Caucus at Veterans Memorial Bldg. June 27, starting with a 12:30 p.m. pot luck dinner. Local members are requested to take a hot dish and either salad or dessert, and their own table service. Following the dinner, the Aux iliary will have its monthly Wil lamette Council meeting, while Post members convene in the Caucus. District 3 Commander Walter Stuart Jr. of Albany will preside. Delegates from the fol lowing posts who have been elected to attend the Department Convention at Coos Bay in July will attend: Albany, Corvallis, Cottage Grove, Eugene 3, Eugene 161, Junction City, Harrisburg, Monroe, Sweet Home, Lebanon, Springfield, Vida, Oakridge, West fir, Florence, Waldport, Newport, Taft, Toledo and Nashville. All members of the various Posts are invited to attend, as are the Auxiliary members, but, only the elected Post delegates are entit led to a voice in the caucus. A district commander and vice commander will be elected. They will be installed at the depart ment convention. Delegates from Post 161 are: Mrs. Frank Yok and Miss Betty Sether. Alter nates are Mrs. Myrl Garnett and Mrs. Ira Williams. In charge of table decorations will be Miss Sether, Mrs. Ira Wil liams and Mrs. Wm. Manley. In charge of the kitchen will be, Mrs. Edmund Kingman, Mrs. Gar nett and Mrs. Glen Lewis. They will be assisted by Willymen, Auxiliary to Post 161. Younger members of the group, under direction of Dale Banks, will present "A Shirt for the King" by Jefferson Albee. Cast of characters will be as Golf Classes Planned YWCA announces that registra tions for golf lessons will be taken all during the week. Per sons interested in this class should call 5-3131 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.- Classes will be at Oakway Golf Course. There will be six classes during the summer. Golf clubs will be furnished by Oakway and Joe Steiger of that course will instruct.
