He was oorn June 20. 1678 near Minneapolis, Kansas and came to Cottage Grove in 1888, residing here since that time. He was mar ried at Pleasant Hill June 14, 1903 to Ora Read who survives him. Mr. Homenway was member of the First Christian Church of Cottage Grove, Cot tage Grove Lodge no I.O.O.F. and the Dorena Grange. Besides his wife, he Is survived by 2 sons & i oaugn ters: Read Hemenway of Cot tage Grove, James Hemenway of Delight Valley, Miss Mar garet Hemenway of Eugene, Mrs. Elizabeth Norrls of Spring field and six grandchildren.
