WashbUrm the last remaining residents of the former Green Peak School District, ire moving from their mountain home where they have resided for a number of years, to Vale, where they plan to reside. At one time the Green Peak District supported two schools, the Green Peak and the Trout Creek schools, but first one family and then another left the area until only one family of children re mained. This district was consol idated with Bellfountain District No. 23 of Benton Comity several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. James T. Miller, who sold their Dawson property this spring ahd moVed to Alpine, are now residing In one bt Ihe G. M. Gragg rehtal houses north of Bellfountain. They have two daughters, Carolyn Sue and Betty Lou. Mr. and Mrs. W. Landoh Regele. principal and fifth and sixth grade teacher in the Bellfountain School, have recently purchased a home west of Alpine, known to old timers as the Burnham place. Litchfield of Newport, ' was chosen Queen of the Timber Carnival at Toledo and will be Miss Lincoln County at the Astoria Regatta.
