Sheriffs in Action The Hancock Countv sheriff telephoned Sheriff Hogg of Brooke County and asked for a deputy to meet him and Karo in Follansbee W. Va. From Follansbee. the "Parkers burg Traveller" was taken to Wheeling by an Ohio County dep uty. At Wheeling, he was fed and given a bus ticket to Parkersburg. The "pony express" had done its job.
