It said Turkey con sidered her exchange of views with Russia, as envisaged at Pots dam, was complete. The Turkish government said it felt Soviet fears of aggression against Russia through the straits should be allayed by the fact that United Nations forces would aid the national armies to defeat ag gression from any quarter. M) A man and woman burned to death early Monday when flames engulfed their automobile after a collision with a cattle truck, four miles west of here. State Hjghway Patrolman Joe Mulcaire laid an effort was being made to identify the victims through 1946 Oregon license plates on their 1941 Nash. The collision occurred, Mul caire said, when the passenger car attempted to pass a lumber truck, and smashed bead-on into the cattle truck. The truck driver was not injured. AU regular members of the patrol are asked to attend, as well as skiers interested in learning first aid and doing ski patrol work this season. "Generalissimo Chiang Kai- Shek needs the United States," the Ministry of Information told pub lishers. "China cannot afford to antagonize the Americans at this time." Peiplng newspapers have been giving prominent play to ami' American news, particularly stories on traffic accidents involv ing U. S. military vehicles and Chinese.
