Feb. 21 IAPI The sickest stock market In almost six years ' today sat up and imbibed rallying nour- t lshment to the extent of 1 to around 5 points at the best, although the con- i valescence was more or less sluggish. Dealings, fast at the start, soon ta- pered and the ticker tape frequently l halted. While advances were widely distributed near the close, top marks were trimmed in many cases. Transfers were in the vicinity of 1,500,000 shares ; against 2.150.000 Wednesday. Wall Street regarded the comeback as largely technical. Better performers included IT. 9. Steel, Bethlehem.
