Morse, coun ty engineer, Wednesday went over the route of a proposed county road a mile long, extending down stream from the Wicks bridge on Row river ten miles east of Cot tage Grove. The county court has received a petition asking that it take over as a county road Twentieth street in Stewart's addition to Spring field. The FBI will hold a school for peace officers in the county court room at the courthouse April 3 at 7:30 p.m., it was announced Wednesday at the office of Sheriff O. E. Crowe, Dean R. W. Letghton, head of physical education at the Univer sity of Oregon, and H. S. Hoyman, associate professor of physical ed ucation, will attend a meeting in Salem, Saturday. March 24, of the Oregon state joint committee on health and physical fitness. P. "Let's Sing, America," over KOAC state-owned station. The children, representing a regular school room situation, will join with the broadcasting teach er and her University of Oregon public school music students, in singing the "Songs of Home and Loved Ones." Following this regular campus broadcast at 11:10 a. m., Miss Gar nett, assisted by Mrs. Curtis Cole, soprano, and Miss Maxine Cady, pianist, will teach the children, over the air, the tunes from Tchaikowsky's "Nutcracker Suite."
