Rev. Jean Shelley will serve as chairman, Mrs. Shelley as pianist, and Ralph Holcomb as song-leader for the day. Morning sermons will be given by Bruce Jones and Ralph Kel leth, and Rev. L. P. Nebelung of Cottage Grove will be the after noon speaker. A potluck luncheon will be held at noon. (P) A school of fishes from Lake Michigan has it all over the three little fishes who swam over the dam. The fishes tried a new route away from the lake and found themselves face to face with a hydraulic machine used for de scaling not fish but armor for tanks and other war machines. They clogged up production at the Carnegie-Illinois armor plate mill for one day. Harlan, 17, Visalia, Cal., es caped federal prisoner from an Emmett, Idaho, jail, was wounded critically in the abdomen and his companion, Timothy Berkeley, 17, of Utah, also an escaped federal prisoner, was jailed following a running five minute gun battle with state police officers near Baker at 9:45 Thursday night. The youths fired on the state police car two miles east of Baker when Officers Leo Suydam and Sergeant Curtis Chambers pur sued a stolen Huntington car.
