Simon chapel in charge of arrangements. . PETERSON Lt. George H. Pet erson, 23, met with an accidental death while in flight at Abilene, Texas. He was born in Roseburg and spent his early years in Eu gene attending Eugene high school and Eugene Vocational school. He received his commsi sion in the ajr corps at Luke Field, Arizona, April 15, 1944. Later he was transferred to Abilene. He is survived by his motlier, Mrs. Lillian Reimers of Bremerton: a stepfather, Will- 'iam A. Reimers of Bremerton; a sister, Mrs. Jack Lorenzen of Portland; an aunt. Mrs. George Smith of Portland. His brother Myron died in 1940. Funeral services will be held from the Simon chanel Staurday, June 24 at 2:30 p.m., with interment in the Rest Haven cemetery.
