'Honeymoon' Stars Grant And Rogers Bringing together for the first time two top stars of the screen, Ginger Rogers and Cary Grant, RKO Radio offers a stirring glimpse of love against a world at war In Leo McCarey'a "Once Upon a Honeymoon." Joan Co-Stan With Wayne The queen of sophisitieated 2l8mour, Joan Crawford, returns to the screen after an absence of several months in a new adventure romance, "Reunion in France," which will open Thursday at the McDonald for a three-day run. Miss Crawford has two co-stars laying opposite her, John Wayne, who plays an RAF aviator shot down over France, and Philip Dorn, who portrays a powerful French official who collaborates with the Nazis after the fall of France. Time of the drama is just after Dunkirk, when Parisians either fled or stayed to take what the Germans had to offer. The excite ment features Reginald Owen, Al bert Basserman, John Carradine, Ann Ayars, and J. Edward Brom berg as members of the support ing cast. That's the Alfred Hitchcock philosophy on picture-making, and it cannot be denied that he has made many successful pic tures. Among them have been "The Thirty-Nine Steps," "The Lady Vanishes," "Rebecca," "Foreign Correspondent," "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," "Suspicion" and "Saboteur." He has recently completed what his admirers claim is the best film of his career. It is "Shadow of a Doubt," coming March 28 to the Heilig theater. For his cast he chose such thor ough stage players as Teresa Wright, Joseph Cotten, Macdon ald Carey, Patricia Collinge, Henry, Travers, Wallace Ford and others. VLT Comedy Will Begin On Thursday First production of the new year at the Very Little Theatre, which made a practice of adding hits to its record in 1942, will be Turner Bullock's "Cuckoo's Nest," which opens Thursday night at 8:15 for a three-night run. The cast features a number of longtime favorites of Eugene audi ences, all under direction or, Mrs. Ken Griffith. Reservations for the show are renorted aoing rapidly at the Will amette Street market (telephone 551-J), where tickets may be re served betwn 9 a. m. and midnight every day, including Sunday. Plot of the comedy is laid in a small college town, where affairs of faculty and their wives rule the roost or pretend to. Rejected from this social circle because she is rather dim-witted, Adelaide Willifer (Florence Shumaker), wife of an English professor (Rob ert D. Horn), makes a bid for rec ognition bv buying the unpub lished novel of a penniless novelist (Glenn Hasselrooth). When the publishers receive Dr. Willifer's "Introduction to English Litera ture," they forget all about it, con centrate on the novel submitted bv Adelaide. . Queen of the clubwomen (Gerda Brown) rallies to her acclaim, but the college president (Ethan New man) and another professor (Rob ert W.
