Darling presented the lesson and Mrs. Zona Rexroad led the devo tionals. Officers were elected. Burl and Warren Brown of the Boeing plant,' accompanied by the Misses Karen and Ruth Jacobson of Seattle, spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L: Brown. Funeral services for M. D. Mor gan of Florence, were held at the Masonic cemetery near Harris burg, Sunday, the Masons in charge. Mr. Morgan was editor of the Harrishurg Bulletin for a number of years, selling out in 1924. He continued to work on the paper here until 1927 when he moved with his family to Florence where he edited the Siuslaw Oar. Gordon Sasse and family have taken an apartment in the Steven son building and Gordon will as sist with the work at the Bulletin office until the editor, Mr. Chris tian, has recovered from his ill ness. Mr. Christian and family have moved from Eugene and are now occupying the George Hall house recently vacated by W. J. Price. Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Davidson report that their son, Hillis, who enlisted last October is now sta tioned at a government technical air communications school at Scott Field, Illinois. Hillis will finish his training some time in March. The Past Noble Grands club will meet Friday at the home of Mrs. H. K. Vannice.
