Robert Mack, accompanied by Dorothy Davis, will sing. Frank Blair Better A. Kingtzley and W. B. Scott of Fall Creek called on Frank E. Blair, former Lowell merchant and now engaged in the stock raising on Fall Creek, Friday. Mr. Blair, who is reported to be seriously ill, appeared to be better. Dentists at Newport A party of Eugene dentists were at Newport Saturday at tending a dinner that night. The occasion was a meeting of the Southern Willamette Dental soci ety. Koupal have received word of the death of their niece, Mrs. George Kunz, in Day ton, Ohio, May 18. Mrs. Kunz vis ited in Eugene several years ago. To Clean Up Cemetery Tuesday, May 23, is cleanup day at the Gillespie cemetery. Lot owners are asked to take along scythes, rakes and pitchforks. Survivors ar; Mr. Evans; six children, James, Gordon and Mrs, Edythe Adams, all of North Bend, Mrs. Emma Robinson of Santa Clara, Floyd, in the United States navy with home base in Connecti cut, and a son, Marion, at home; five grandchildren; and five broth ers and two sisters in the midwest. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. from Miller's chapel, Rev. A. B. Cromwell of ficiating. Interment will be in the Junction City I. O. O. F. cemetery. VKD01T? Evans, resi dent of Junction City for many years, died Friday evening at her home. Although she had been ser iously ill, her death was not ex pected at this time. She was born Clara Kriemelmeyer, January 13, 1885, at Cottage, Iowa, and came to Oregon in 1904. She taught school at Elmira for one term and in July, 1905, married William C. Evans at Eugene.
