"Christmas Cheer Fund" Of Lodge To Benefit From Proceeds Of Event By MARIAN LOWRY CONTINUING the schedule of worthy and interesting philanthropic activities the season brings will be the annual benefit bridge party of the Ladles of the Elks next Saturday afternoon at the Elks temple. Proceeds from this party will go to the Elks lodge for its Christmas Cheer Funds. The L. O. Gage Jr. to check up on final plans. On Tuesday evening the dance committee met at the home of the chairman, Mrs. William G. East. On this group with Mrs. East are Mrs. Gaven C. Dyott, Mrs. L. B. Sigwart, Mrs. Crosby Owens, and Mrs. Gerald Scherer. The dance holds special interest in that it is the first of the Christmas balls scheduled for next month. Seattle Visitor Is Honored, at Party Mrs. E. A. Stacks and and Mrs. O. S. Bundy entertained at the home of the former Wednesday at a luncheon honoring Mrs. J. M. Randall, who is here from Seattle as guest of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas S. Wells. Guests at the party included Mrs. Randall, Mrs. Wells, Mrs. S. M. Calkins, Mrs. S. D.
